Feeling those holiday blues? It has been over a year or so that most of us have gone on vacation. Many of us were cooped up in our own homes while the rest of us have been trying to figure out how to teach our children. It’s a no brainer that once the pandemic ends, there will be a big surge in holidays. No-one would want to stay at home anymore and at the same time, many of us wonder where are we supposed to go? Here are some places you can go to once the pandemic ends.
Go to a resort or a hotel and just take a much-needed vacation. You probably need a vacation where you don’t even need to lift a finger. Rest assured, this is different from staying at home. Go out for a tan or go to swim in the pools at the resort. Do anything to make you feel like a million dollars. If you’re feeling lazy that’s okay. Just go to the restaurant in the resort and you will be treated like royalty. If you’re thinking about relaxing, take a trip to a resort in the infamous Port Dickson where there are hundreds of hotels and resorts.
If you’re feeling particularly adventurous you can try taking some diving classes Malaysia. It might seem daunting at first when you’re up on a very high platform but we’re sure you’ll enjoy it if you’re a thrill seeker. Perhaps being cooped up in your home has made you feel adventurous and maybe you would like to challenge your fear of heights, either way try diving for a change. You could also probably tap into your unknown talent of diving and take up diving as a new hobby. Though it sounds quite unusual, diving is one of those activities that you enjoy once you get the gist of it.
Next, you could try going to a waterpark. This is a classic activity amongst Malaysians as we have many hot and humid days. Try cooling yourself off with a quick splash in any waterpark we could offer. If you’re up for a drive you could even travel to Genting Highlands for a splash as they offer an interesting waterpark but if you’re not up for a drive, you could go to The Wet World in Pedas for a splash. They offer multiple pools for people of all ages for a splash and if you’re not a pool person, they even have heated pools to relax in.
Finally, after all this if you’re still up for another trip you could probably go to the popular night markets Malaysia has got to offer. During the pandemic, many night market stall owners have had their business affected. Since the government had shut down many stall owners, they were forced to find other ways to secure their income. Visit the night market in Jonker Street, Malacca and help out some Micro Businesses there. They will appreciate you coming out to support them in their time of need.
So here are some places you can go to when the pandemic ends. Just don’t go now as we are reaching all time highs with COVID-19 cases. Play your part as a Malaysian or a citizen to ensure we can go on holiday as soon as possible. Good luck!
